Internship, Volunteer, Research, Conference, or Workshop International Experience

BY CLICKING THE "Register Now" BUTTON, YOU ARE BEGINNING A PROGRAM REGISTRATION APPLICATION WHICH INDICATES YOU WILL BE TRAVELING ABROAD FOR A NON-CREDIT EXPERIENCE.

Please read the following information carefully.

Texas A&M University recognizes the need for its employees and students to travel abroad on official university business. The Texas A&M University Standard Administrative Procedure 21.01.03.M0.02 for Foreign Travel enumerates the process for obtaining prior approvals for foreign travel, funding information, and additional requirements when travel is to an international destination.

Registering your independent international travel for an internship, volunteer, research, conference, or workshop is required if any of the following apply:
  • Receiving credit (TAMU or transfer) for the experience
  • Receiving any support from a TAMU entity (e.g. funding or arranging experience)
  • Satisfying a degree or graduation requirement (e.g. thesis or dissertation research)
The entire registration must be completed prior to your departure in order to obtain a confirmation of travel.

**Note: Students participating in programs sponsored by a Texas A&M office or department (e.g. faculty-led, exchange, student organization, etc.) or any of the below affiliated providers should use the search engine to find their program specific application.
