Home Institution
Participants should inquire about receiving academic credit with their home university advisors, professors, and/or academic department heads. Many participants have successfully received independent study, internship, directed studies, or special topics credit for their program by presenting their Service-Learning Portfolio.

Carroll College
ISA Service-Learning has partnered with Carroll College to award academic credit for all service-learning placements. Participants can opt to receive a U.S. transcript and earn 1-6 academic credits. Credit awarded will be based on the number of contact hours accrued at the host organization and successful completion of the Service-Learning Portfolio. For more information, please visit the Academic Credit Options page on the ISA Service-Learning website.
