Program Description:


Internships in Mexico

About the Program:
Kukulcan Educational Spanish Community in Cuernavaca, Mexico, is committed to providing Aggies with opportunities to develop their language skills and to experience the Mexican culture first hand. The Kukulcan Internship Program is intended to be a learning experience for the students, which allows them to integrate experiential learning into their studies.

Students may choose an internship from the following categories: 
• Business • Education • Government • Agriculture • Health
• Community service or volunteer work



Some internships will be located in Cuernavaca, while others may be in the surrounding areas: CIVAC, Cuautla, Temixco, Jojutla

The length can vary from five weeks to a full academic year. Participants may work in a part-time (four hours per day) or full-time (eight hours per day) capacity.



Requirements for the Internship: 
A. High intermediate Spanish language level, however, Spanish language training is available at Kukulcan to bring you up to speed. We also offer special spanish classes to help you learn how to do business in Mexico.
B. 2.5 or higher GPA. 
C. Complete the application process at least
two months prior to the desired internship date. 
D. Insurance coverage during the student’s stay in México. 
E. Enrollment in the prerequisite courses at Kukulcan.
